Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)

At Derby Ridge Elementary School we strive to provide an environment that sets students up for success.  We do this by providing clear behavioral expectations, teaching those expectations, correcting inappropriate behavior and using data to solve systematic problems. PBIS lessons are taught in the classroom and on a daily basis. Expectations are reinforced by staff throughout the building. Students have the opportunity to receive positive specific feedback, and various rewards for following the expectations. Always learners, Always leaders, Always Dragons!
